About Us

TempEngInc was established in 1978, and we've specialized in the commercial HVAC/R industry for over 40 years. Our mission then, as it is now, is to provide comprehensive HVAC maintenance services to a wide range of businesses, including restaurant chains, hotel chains, refrigerated distribution warehouses, and refrigerated processing plants. We have developed and maintained a maintenance program that provides our clients with services built around their specific needs. We understand that, during your hours of operation, you have specific times that generate your revenue. Our professionals understand that those hours of operation are off-limits for routine maintenance, and we adjust our hours accordingly—serving you only when and where it's convenient for your business.

Comprehensive Training

All of our maintenance personnel are trained in the specific skills required for maintaining boiler systems, heating systems, ventilation systems, air-conditioning systems, commercial refrigeration systems, exhaust systems, makeup air systems, and commercial ice-making equipment. Our commitment to education for our personnel is ongoing; meaning, we send our personnel to the various manufacturers' training facilities to ensure they receive the best training available. Our personnel are also members of Local 597 and attend training schools offered by the union. Our emphasis is to ensure the schools attended are specifically related to the expertise required to service refrigeration and HVAC equipment and the digital controls that operate them.

Customers who sign an agreement with us can expect firm but fair pricing that's always competitive. TempEngInc is a commercial contractor providing service to educated customers. When the need arises to install replacement equipment, we handle all coordination efforts. From construction permits, scheduling electricians, roofers, and crane lifts—we do it all. All equipment is shipped direct to our warehouse—preventing the need to have construction crews and equipment meeting a common carrier at the job site. No loss of time; all smooth scheduling.
These associations also allow us to process warranties easily and expeditiously. All of this equates to savings for your business in two ways. If the parts or compressors are under warranty, your invoice would reflect that. If the labor was also under warranty, you would not be invoiced.
